About Me

Hi there!

 

   You've clicked on the "about me" button for a reason, right?  Well, let me tell you something about myself then.

I'm Bibi Queisen, an eighteen-year old, art-loving girl. I've been drawing and painting ever since my mum handed me my first crayon.

 When working on paper or convas I prefer working with pencils, copic ciao's or acrylics. I especially love to work with a white pencil on black paper. In the future I hope to start working with oil paint. On the computer my artistic workingtool is a Wacom Intuos, a great drawing tablet!    Another interest of mine is animation. I absolutely love learning more about animation, mostly character animation. I've also made an animated short called Remember To Smile and there are definitely more films to come in the future. Making an animated film: It's lots of work but I enjoy every second (and frrame) of it. I have a big wish of maybe working at the animation studio Cartoon Saloon someday, that would honestly be fantastic.

   I don't only love making art, looking at art is also a big love of mine. I always really enjoy visiting a museum and looking at all the treasures it holds. I'm most interested in old art; Medieval, Renaissance, Baroque, Romantic and 19th century art.

Sigh...so many museums, so little time.

 

  Apart from art, other things I really enjoy doing are reading, listening to music, watching (animated) films, sipping tea, going to gigs and re-watching my all-time favourite tv-series Merlin for the 10th time.
